It’s those fleeting moments that sparked the creation of Vagrant Story, and encapsulating them into beautiful bottles of fine fragrances is their ultimate mission.
To bring memory to scent, Vagrant Story creates a collaborative effort between artists, perfumers, and artisans, among many others. With their endless inspiration, synergetic creativity, and mindfully sourced materials—from high-end vegan ingredients down to on-brand, sustainable packaging from noissue—the work begins.

Tell us a bit about your brand!
Vagrant Story is a Los Angeles-based fine fragrance company founded in 2022 by Ivy Kwon. The house creates fragrances inspired by scent-coded memories, reminiscent of a second skin, that aim to capture the intangible essence of what makes us all human.
Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?
As a primarily direct-to-consumer company, our packaging is an extension of our brand. We view it as an important touch point and opportunity to delight our customers.
We strive to balance sustainability and functionality as we grow, routinely conducting things like packaging fittings to optimize box-to-product ratios and reduce the need for dunnage. So far, we’ve been able to communicate our aesthetic with a less is more approach.
What made noissue a good fit for your packaging?
We utilize premium quality materials in the formulation of our fragrances, prioritizing upcycling and nature preservation whenever possible.
When it comes to packaging, we searched for a high quality eco-conscious option, and the noissue custom water-activated tape and custom masking tape were the obvious choices!
