Have you ever heard of eco-tattoo supplies? 🤔

The tattoo industry, like most industries, consumes a ton of plastic—from the materials and equipment down to the supplies required for the service itself—it's almost inevitable. But for Good Judy, a Canadian tattoo supply company, it doesn’t always have to be that way.

Changing the tattoo game for the better is the Good Judy way. With their wide range of sustainable tattoo supplies—needles, equipment, protective gear, and more—all of which are either compostable or biodegradable, Good Judy has become an eco-household name for many tattoo shops and tattooists in and out of Canada.

Not only that, Good Judy also ships their online orders with their compostable, recycled, and reusable packaging picks from noissue, so their products stay on brand and secure in transit. A sustainable brand, through and through. Learn more about Good Judy below!

Tell us a bit about your brand!

The average tattoo lasts about 80 years but the plastic garbage used to make the tattoo will last hundreds of years. At Good Judy we believe that single use plastic should not outlive the tattoos we create.

Our promise to ourselves and the tattoo community is to deliver a high quality user experience through products that are 100% certified compostable and biodegradable. Since 2018 we've seen tattoo artists and tattoo enthusiasts come together to support a plastic free future for the tattoo industry. Today we offer the largest selection of eco tattoo supplies globally.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

Packaging is very important in the tattoo industry. Most single use products come prepackaged in sterilized plastic and this creates an enormous amount of garbage. As a zero plastic company we've innovated our packaging to be fiber based and fully compostable.

Whether our tattoo artists are opening a package of needles or opening a big box of supplies we want our branding to reflect thoughtfulness, quality, and an engaging aesthetic that makes eco fun.

What made noissue a good fit for your packaging?

We love using noissue packaging supplies because the quality is high and it is easy to customize items with our logo and aesthetic. There aren't many packaging supply companies dedicated to a fully sustainable product line and it's great to have a one stop shop that clearly outlines how their products are better for the planet.

We take certifications very seriously and if a company claims to have compostable products but cannot provide the testing to prove it we won't work with them. noissue has outlined their 3rd party testing on their website and we really appreciate the transparency.
