There are only a handful of things that can transcend from the kitchen to your skincare routine, one of which is extra virgin olive oil. Its pureness is thanks to the countless health benefits derived from an extra-careful production process, making it all natural with no chemical substances, while its versatility makes it the perfect ingredient for a healthy meal and elevated skin care.

Husband and wife duo Alison and Jay Carroll saw the beauty of olive oil and created Wonder Valley in 2014. Wonder Valley began as a producer of exceptional-quality olive oil in sunny California and has since expanded into the world of skin care. From their iconic black bottled olive oil to their collection of skincare wonders, Wonder Valley truly has the best of both worlds.

As a brand that prioritizes developing high-quality and high-performing products, Wonder Valley’s commitment to environmental consciousness is no different. Wonder Valley ensures that every order that goes out is safely, stylishly, and sustainably packed in noissue packaging, so not only do their products get the first impression they so dearly deserve, but in a more branded and memorable way possible.

Tell us a bit about your brand!

California-grown and family-owned, Wonder Valley has been celebrating the holistic power of olive oil since 2014. In Northern California, our olives are meticulously selected, hand-harvested, and pressed early in the season. This careful process yields a vibrant, green-hued oil rich in flavor and antioxidants, a beloved and best-selling extra virgin olive oil. This same oil is then used as the fundamental ingredient in a growing skincare and haircare line, emphasizing our belief in the inextricable link between internal health and external beauty.

Behind the brand, we are a husband and wife team, Alison and Jay Carroll. Before starting Wonder Valley, Alison was the Marketing Director for the California Olive Oil Council, overseeing the only professional taste panel in North America. Through this role, she oversaw certifying olive oil as extra virgin grade for the state of CA, acting as an educator and advocate for this growing domestic agriculture industry. Jay is an artist and creative director with experience in branding, fashion, interiors, and editorial. Alison and Jay live and work between the high desert of Joshua Tree, California, and a small island in Maine.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

We are using noissue for the tissue paper wrapping that goes around each product that ships out of our warehouse for our online orders. Packaging is a very important detail to us at Wonder Valley, but if you go beyond our beautiful packaging, you’ll find high-performing, plant-based formulas and products to improve the quality of your health and skin.

We design with foresight, not only considering the experience of applying and using our products but the lifecycle of the packaging components long after they’ve been enjoyed. We continue to prioritize seeking out the most sustainable components for our packaging, ones that are easily recycled.

What made noissue a good fit for your packaging?

We are constantly looking for packaging solutions without plastic and wanted tissue paper that allowed us to add design elements, like our Wonder Valley siren logo. noissue came recommended to us by another brand founder and it could not be a more straightforward, intuitive process to set up pricing.

We’re a self-funded business, hitting our ten-year mark this year, and noissue has been a good fit through different phases of growth. I appreciated the low-minimums when we started and now I’m grateful for the competitive pricing as we grow.
